SEATTLE, October 10, 2023 — Poised to be a festive new holiday tradition for families and friends alike, the Seattle Christmas Market, inspired by the centuries-old yuletide tradition of the German Christmas Markets, will offer early bird ticket pricing beginning October 18.

The Seattle Christmas Market will bring the joy of the season to Seattle Center for a month-long celebration from November 24 to December 24.

The Seattle Christmas Market will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:30am to 9:30pm and Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 9:30pm. Beginning December 8 the Seattle Christmas Market will be open daily from 11:30am to 9:30pm until it closes up shop for the year on Sunday, December 24 at 6pm.

Early bird tickets will be available for purchase online from October 18 to November 6. Enjoy $4 off season passes, $6 off general admission, and $4 off senior and youth tickets. Children 6 or under are always free. 

When purchasing tickets online, guests will be prompted to select a date and half-hour arrival time slot.  The Fisher Pavilion and South Fountain Lawn at Seattle Center will be transformed into a European-inspired outdoor Christmas village and community marketplace. Peruse the 60+ traditional wooden huts full of artisan crafts and gifts, savory and sweet bites, warming drinks, and German beer. 

Family outing?  Kids of all ages will want to take a spin on the Christmas Carousel, and it’s free! Warm up your vocal cords while enjoying the sounds of lively entertainment on the outdoor Flying Stage. Grab a hot apple cider and take part in a curated Christmas Scavenger Hunt. Yes, there’s a prize!

Date night?  Don’t miss the Love Lock Installation where you can claim your spot with a heart shaped lock. Or cozy up with a cup of mulled wine inside the Alpen Haus and enjoy the seasonal entertainment unfolding on the second stage. 

Meet up with friends to create memories and “picture-perfect” moments under the 50-foot walk-through Christmas tree with over 50,000 twinkling lights. Experience three traditional Christmas stories through augmented reality animation to share on Instagram. Grab a Brat and a brew. Take a stroll under the glittering lights of Lovers’ Lane. Wait, is that mistletoe? You bet it is!
